Why I Teach This Work

 

I didn’t build this from theory.
I built it from depletion.

From being the one who “had it together”
even when I was unraveling under the weight of it all.

I know what it’s like to write the great lessons, show up with energy, and still feel like your classroom only runs if you are running it.

And I know what it’s like to question if stepping back means you’ve stopped caring.

The exhaustion wasn’t just emotional.
It was structural.

And no one was naming that.

So I started building what I couldn’t find:
A way to teach that holds both the standards and the students without draining the teacher behind it.

That’s what this work is.

It’s not motivation.
It’s not theory.
It’s not about doing less to get by.

It’s about doing just enough less to let your students rise.
